Coldplay is a post-Britpop/alternative rock band from London, England well known for their rock melodies and introspective lyrics.

Coldplay proved to be one of the only British rock bands of their era to make a major impact on the US charts. Coldplay stands to prove that simple, memorable, straightforward pop-rock can still be striking even in the post-everything 21st century.

Coldplay has announced that a DVD of the two upcoming shows in Toronto will be released soon.

Also Coldplay's next studio album will be"fast, dark and heavy" according to Chris Martin interviewed. It will be release in late 2007 or in early 2008.
