In the case of Steeltech and Pfister & Vogel/Gebhardt, this has meant that hundreds of workers have been left without paychecks, even as multi-billion dollar corporations add to their profits. Workers from Steeltech, who worked without pay for several months before the plant closed, and those from P&V, who found out they were losing their jobs with only days notice-a clear violation of state and federal law-wrote a letter to Grundhofer asking for a little help from he and his friends.
