All the Grundhoefer apologists will say that service doesn't matter as long as USB builds shareholder value...Frankly, it doesn't seem that USB cares one damn bit for its customers Absolutely right! Service stinks!!

My wife went into a US Bank branch last Friday to make a deposit...She had to wait a long time in line and was offered a "Five Star Service Guarantee" for the inconvenience. I go to the web site to look at her account on Sunday and notice that there has been a five dollar withdrawal from her account title "Ref Service Gurarantee". It turns out that the teller ran the service guarantee through as a debit instead of a credit Another US Bank Rip Off

I just got burnt by the inept service of the new U.S. Bank. After spending an hour and 1/2 on the phone with an employee who could not find my account, she did not transfer money when she said she would and now I have to do the follow-up on overdrafts. Walked into one of your branches in a grocery store today only to realize they don't have any employees with a functional brain cell working. I have had the misfortune of obtaining a home equity loan from US Bank....I have never had a worse experience with customer service in my life! ....I have spoken to branch staff, 800 number customer service staff, supervisors, a branch manager, the insurance department, the loan department, you name it! I have called, sent faxes, sent letters by mail, nothing works. None of these individuals would take ownership of what should be a simple customer service issue Poor Service from USB!

They no longer care about consumers and customer service is at an all time low. I have heard comments from former Private Banking customers that they no longer can go in to a branch and get the specialized service. And that when they go into a branch that they are referred to an 800 number after they have spent 10 minutes in line only to talk to a teller with attitude. US Bank will now not credit that "cash" deposit to the customer's account till tommorow,after all it was only "cash",have to wait for CASH to clear?? WTF!! I'd like for you all to know that the posts concerning the deferred payment and the threats from USB were VERY real, NOT "built up" ... Now I have not talked with everyone who works for USB, but I can state FOR A FACT that Ronnie ? and Jerry Vanderhoff (sp.?) DID threaten to ruin our credit and DID tell us straight out that we were liars, among many other things that were said  Just For The Record...

More than just this newest suit, I assume you're aware of the class action lawsuit filed against USBC for violations of the bankruptcy code relating to improper attempts to get debtors to sign reaffirmation agreements. Seems to me that this outfit does what it wants, when it wants, they way it wants, and then justifies its actions as acceptable business practice  Seems to be a pattern...

What I see on the Internet, the US Bank complaints, does not appear to be related to new (30 days) accounts. Many of these appear to be long-time customers. Maybe US Bank has the legal right to hold deposits for up to 7 days, but that doesn't mean its good business - not when the competition is generally making funds available in 1 business day. And I have seen a couple complaint stories where holds were allegedly placed on direct deposits... that's just plain wrong ! Re: Jerrysworstnitemare.... Rhino

It's getting downright ugly....Since USB isn't providing either stellar customer service or stellar products, is it any wonder that USB has closed six branches in Las Vegas alone in the past four months? USB losing customers

There is no such thing as customer service in the Cincinnati area. USB employees need to get busy and take care of depositors before more of those deposits leave for banks that know how to take care of customers Demise of Customer Service

As a new account holder with this bank I am highly upset and downright pissed off. Next wendsday I will close the account and go back to bank of America even though I dislike them too....I do not forget poor treatment...no wonder their parking lot and lobby is always bare...STRONG SMELL!
