Just got off the phone with an old High School friend....He said the bank has rolled out a new loan system and he said the loan system does not work. He is predicting massive banker turn over because the new system basicly is a slap in the face to the bankers get out now

Called your customer srevice today because they dinged me "twice" for the same debit card transaction. The skirt answering the call says "sure looks like that what happened, we've been having problems with that exchange, we'll launch an "investigation" then within 10 days could possibly credit your account - the Federal gov't gives us 45 day's though" But, I explain, your double debit could cause my account to be overdrawn. Then the merger came. Most of the people in the branch I had known and worked with for years disappeared. The service started to stink, there were never enough employees to handle the load, and a lot of the new people acted like they could care less if we customers came in or not. So I left. Took all my accounts to a locally-based bank nearby....I don't know who these Grunderhoffer characters are, but I really don't think they know anything about how a bank should be run. I have been personally abused by the "operational excellence" that has become the standard operational procedure. After reading others comments about customer service, let's review where we are: mortgage banking, check card charges, and personal branch service are all suffering. Folks, this is the bread and butter of banking today. If USB cannot keep its existing customers happy, how in the world is it going to grow at any price for the services it renders? The answer is, of course, that if this continues, the bank will have to sell. The only way a bank deserves to grow is by growing the franchise, i.e. customers, and the ony way to do that is by delighting customers. USB lately has a great way of doing the opposite USB in its Present Form must Change

I too have just recently endured an ordeal with US Bank. It appears (after I had investigated two months worth of bank printouts from the branch) that US Bank didn't credit one of my ATM deposits. Within three days or so of this deposit, a chain of NSF fees built up without my knowledge...I have been on overload with stress talking to every dept, branch manager, and etc under the sun -- and the only thing that the bank is doing for me is making me wait while they take two weeks to run what they call an "missing deposit investigation", in hopes they will find the transaction entered into the ATM machine. I found out that US Bank hires a vendor to do all of their ATM processing to boot!!! Just Another US Bank Complaint

I opened a checking account at US Bank and they asked for my social security number and I complied. They asked me if I want a credit card and I said, No, and there was no misunderstanding at all. Yet, a short time later, I received a letter that stated in essence that USBank had ordered a credit card for me, in spite of my wishes...I complained to the head office of USBank and they wouldn't even return my calls The complaints just go on and on
