Villa Claire Delores was designed to balance you mentally, physically and spiritually. When I found this old house I was on a path that led me here. I knew that is was too beautiful not to share. Making the decision to move to Mexico was not an easy one, leaving behind my family. They urged me to find peace where ever, so I did. This has been a labor of love and indeed a lesson in humility....

What I have found are loving people who live a simple life. Waking each morning and appreciating all that God has given them. And believe me, in comparison to what you have in the United States it’s not much. Simple houses and simple food. Family, food, water and shelter are the most important. I am reminded each day of the small things in life and find joy and inner peace.

Opening an Inn was not my immediate goal, but with a place so large and with my massage therapy background I wanted to give back something, to be of service of some kind. So now the Inn is open and I have started to advertise. Instead of just waiting for people to see my site on line, I thought it would a better idea to offer Villa Claire Delores to like minded people who had similar interests.

My interest range from Photography, Writing, The Healing Arts, Scuba Diving, Skiing, a love for animals...the list is varied, but inter connecting. So are people in the world and what a better place to share than Villa Claire Delores.

I have plans to open a small school here a few months out of the year, for young children to learn English, explore the world, have fun, do art projects. Like minded people are welcome here. This is a place to come and enjoy Rural Mexico in a relaxed setting.  A villa on top of a mountain, a quiet retreat for Rest & Friendship away from the hussle bussle of city life.  There is lots to do, fish, dive, kayak, drive into the desert, painted caves, missions, our beaches are white sand and in the summer the water is like a bath tub. There is a so much to do, or nothing if that's what you want.
