Outdoors Landscape and Gardening Plan

A great effort is being made to set the new "Olive Tree Kindergarten" in a pleasant and inspiring environment. There are great views from the high spot of "Olive Tree" over the ancient town center of Shfaram and over the Mediterranean and its coastal plain, but the immediate outdoors space at the building is in bad shape being affected by the recent construction opperations and it became clear that a major change, including a re-design of the landscape is required. We are fortunate to have among the staff of the project Axel Ewald, a sculptor and environmental planner with previous experience in such work. Axel planned one of the most beautiful corners in Kibbutz Harduf, the gardens of Beit Elisha - a master-piece of design with nature. Axel Ewald prepared the plan below and its execution will most probably involve volunteers from abroad.
